01、“网红”的英文表达
国外媒体对网红的定义：
An Internet celebrity,blogebrity,cyberstar,or online celebrity is someone who has become famous by means of the Internet. Internet allows people to reach a narrow audience across the world and so become famous within one or more Internet communities.
上述中的Internet celebrity[slebr?ti]、blogebrity、cyberstar、online celebrity都可以用来表示网红，“celebrity”要比“star”更地道！
另外国外媒体还会用：Web celebrity或 Web Sensation来表达“网红”。
例句：
Anna’s first YouTube video went viral and she’s been an Internet celebrity ever since then.
Anna 的第一支 YouTube 影片在网路上爆红，从那之后，她就成为了一名网红。
This furious Persian has become an web sensation after pictures of him with this cone over his head went viral.

前两个例句中出现了一个短语：go viral 在网路上爆红
viral 这个单字本身是指“病毒”，所以 go viral 是形容“像病毒一样蔓延开来”，用来表示“某人、某篇文或某支影片，在社群媒体或网路平台上被人大量分享、点阅而造成轰动”。
02、“红人，宠儿”的英文表达
可以说：blue-eyed boy（千万不要以为是“蓝眼睛的男孩”）"blue-eyed boy是英国英语（非正式用法），意为“受宠的人”，“红人”（多用于贬义）。
当然了，你也可以用“blue-eyed boy on the Internet”表示网红！
例句：
He's become the boss's blue-eyed boy.
他成为了老板跟前的红人。
She was the media's blue-eyed boy.
她是媒体的宠儿。
03、“过气网红”的英文表达
翻译“过气”这样口语化的词汇，可以“解释性翻译”。比如你可以说成：a web celeb who's not popluar any more。
但这样的翻译，虽然意思传达了，却总感觉少了那么点“意思”。在英语表达中，有一个现成的说法可以和“过气”对应。那就是：has-been一个简单的“现在完成时”就表达了“过气”。
《柯林斯词典》里是这样定义的：
If you describe someone as a has-been, you are indicating in an unkind way that they were important or respected in the past, but they are not now.（如果你把某人称为是has-been，那么你就是在不客气地暗示那人曾经受人重视和尊重，而如今却不是了。）
所以，我们可以看到这样的新闻标题：Top 100 Has-Been Actors and Actresses
又比如：
He is dismissed as a has-been in his profession.
他被认为是该行业中的过时人物而遭解雇了。
